U-Pick

WE WILL BE OPEN ON JULY 4TH FOR PICKING!  BRING THE FAMILY OUT FOR ICE CREAM AND PICK SOME BERRIES...!

Our U-Pick blueberry and blackberry orchards were the first crops we established and remains the highlight of our farm. With close to 4,000 blueberry and blackberry bushes, the season begins in May and finishes the first week of July.

In March of 2020 we introduced strawberries to our U-Pick farm. It has quickly become a customer favorite that we are pleased to continue for years to come. But here in Texas, strawberries have to be pulled up after each season is done, the soil tilled, planted in a cover crop, and then in September or the first of October, replanted in strawberries for picking the following year. This process as well as maintaining the plants throughout the winter can be quite time consuming, That's why we were so thankful for our bumper crop in 2024!

Pick Your Own FAQs

What time of day is best? The morning is best both for your comfort and the fruit. The sugar in the berry plants goes back into the ground in the heat, so fruit picked in the morning is sweeter.

Do we need reservations? No! It's first come, first serve, so get here early for the strawberries.

What's the best way to transport them? If you are driving more than an hour or you are keeping them in your trunk, produce needs to be kept chilled in a cooler with enough ice to chill but not freeze.

What equipment is provided? We provide buckets and bucket liners.
